Change The Narrative.....and we did! MIAA Hockey Champs

The Calvert Hall Cardinals headed to Piney Orchard to take on Archbishop Spalding for the MIAA A Conference Championship.  Backed by a large crowd of rowdy Cardinal Crazies the Cards were ready to go!!  Spalding jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead & the Hall found themselves down 4-1 after the first period.  There was no quit in any of our players eyes & they were ready for the comeback, as were  the hundreds of fans in the stands.  The second period would be all Cards, storming back to tie the game at 4-4.  The momentum, the crowd, & the hockey gods were all in our favor.  Two goals in the third period would give Calvert Hall a 6-4 win & their first MIAA championship since 2016.
Sean Metzger (3 Goals & 2 Assists) Liam Kansler (2 Goals & 3 Assists) Jake Schmelzer (1 Goal & 2 Assists) Nick Wah 22 saves in the title clinching victory.
