Calvert Hall holds on for home opener win.

For the first time in over 18 months the Calvert Hall hockey team took the ice at Mt. Pleasant.  Georgetown Prep cam eto town for the home opner in MAPHL play.  The Cards struck the back of the net quickly & continued to poor it on.
Cormac McCarthy, Robbie Thompson, & Sean Metzger each scored twice.  Owen Cornett added the other goal.  Nick Wah stopped 27 of 33 shots against the Hoyas for the first MAPHL win over Georgetown Prep in 6 years.  Next up for the Cards is a Friday evening game in Rockville against Bullis Prep.
