Cards tie it up wih 22 seconds left in game

The Cards hit the road for their first MAPHL league game at Capitals Iceplex in Arlington. A raucous student section of over 200 students for O'Connell made the atmosphere lively.  O'Connell strikes first, but Tyler Chin quickly silenced the student crowd with a top shelf goal assisted by Owen Cornett & Zach Chason.  O'Connell took the lead 2-1 with 3:00 left in game.  With less than a minute to play & the Cards short handed with the goalie pulled Robbie Thompson connected on a one timer from Sean Metzger to tie the game at 2-2.  Nick Wah was strong in net with 23 saves to earn a hard earned point in MAPHL play.

It was a Great night to be a Cardinal.
